WSAlumni: stepping stones
Hey guys! West Spring Alumni Blog had its first makeover... WSAlumni is still not yet a registered organisation, so if there is any thing that you might not like about WSAlumni, i would hereby apologise... We are still trying to make WSAlumni an organisation and only YOU can make it happen... this holiday (for polytechnic alumni) would be a good time for our WSAlumni to really set up... so, those who are interested to make it happen... do drop by your mail or msn Amanda at
amandahuan@hotmail.com"what are we gonna do?" you might ask... we will have a committee selection and thus from there, we will hold meetings on how we can get our EX-Students and Alumni back to our new school... i can understand that you all might not like to go back to school anymore due to matter of hair dye, new environments and people... I went back to school today and the pioneer banch of teachers misses us... i know how it feels like when you wanted to see the teachers but got stop for hair colours and had to go home... WSAlumni will get the rights for the pioneer banch of students...
1) those who have not recieved your card, do not panic. we will send the card ASAP
2)what you are recieving now is a temporary card, as WSAlumni is establishing, you will soon receive a better quality card
3)events will start to come up so, stay tune to here!
Remember, only YOU can make WSAlumni happen!

okay. havent blogged lately.
yes alumni uh... a bit no life cause everyone's busy in school.
A's are nearing.
Poly year 2 for most of you is pretty hectic and i know ITE side a lot of rushing around etc.
alumni wise we do need an event.
plan something really.
i'm a tad busy with work and will have/am having difficulty planning an event.
be pro-active. people

am intending to keep membership below 30 but will definitely include ppl who want to join.
will restructure alumni.
no more an organization but rather a community.
the difference?
no more structured hierachy.
one main co-ordinator and just members =/
that way its more close knit.
and no i do not exclude people from meetings or events.
its at your own discretion should u choose to turn up for select events.
now on a hunt for next year's student event committee.
to have more informal gatherings.
will take all suggestions under consideration.

This meeting will seek to voice out all concerns regarding the alumni as well as address all unfinished business. The committee will also be elected on this day. Kindly note that all absentees will not be able to be a part of the committee.
